They say there are some pills to put into the gas tank (not Ural's) to save on gas.
I am a sceptic.
Did anyone used these tablets?
I am not looking to buy them to save on gas. Friend told me there is a company with an "opportunity".
If anyone else is interested I can get you some more info. I may as well waste my time attending a seminar tomorrow

The Science channel recently tested several "mileage enhancers" and debunked them all in actual testing.....these included the naptha "moth balls" gas pills, the internal turbulator fans, the magnetic ionizers for fuel lines, etc.
Some actually got worse mileage!!
Better fuel economy was realized in their tests by just getting the tires inflated properly and changing the air filter.
It's like the "flow through" tailgates for pickup trucks.....testing by several labs consistantly proves a pickup with the tailgate UP gets better gas mileage than with it down or with the flow through variety tail gate installed, but the aerodynamic concepts that cause this are so complex it defies simple logic (and simple minds!), so they still sell a ton of the worthless things!

I saw that episode of MythBusters also. They did the tailgate up/down test and proved you get better gas milage with it UP. They did a "wind tunnel" type of test and showed with the gate up, a ball of air forms in the bed causing any incoming air to travel OVER the bed, making the truck more aerodynamic. WIth the gate down, there was more drag. Surprised me too !!

Mythbusters rock! I love that program. Plus, Jamie reminds me alot of a friend of mine from Montana.

Thanks guys!
I am an opposer of all kind of "opportunities", as I hate to waste my time on worthless things.
My Mrs. Sidecar Monkey asked me to read the email her lady friend sent, which I deleted a month or so ago. Now again, she saw her Mrs. "opportunity" friend :-)

Yep. fluid dynamics is a crazy subject that generally goes against what "common sense" should tell you. It's the reason bigger isn't always better for exhausts, why certain changes to cylinder heads and intake and exhaust ports can be good or bad... all sorts of things you really need a PhD or lots of experience in the field to figure out. That buddy of yours who ported his own heads and picked up 25% power probably owes it more to luck than skill.
