has any body done any thing with the final drive gears ? change them out to other gearing? what will it do to the side car wheel ? is it hard to change ? dose it make the bike perform better ? just asking inquiring mind wants to know

Sorry, but there is only one type of gearing for the MT16 final drive.

The sidecar type gearing it comes with is pretty much ideal for it unless you really slog through a lot of mud slowly.

Lezsek, at old timer garage, has taller 3rd and 4th gears for the gearbox. They allow you to keep the low gearing needed for getting the rig going from a stop on a hill without toasting your clutch.
