Yesterday march 7th in Beverly mass the temp reached 50 degrees F. After a week of riding in snow and rain. Anyway yesterday was to me real biker day because there were bikers everywhere with the nice polished machines and the tough looking faces, the girl friends on the back, while me and my son washed all the road salt and grime off the DNEPR, Ill miss the Cold days of winter when the roads in Beverly are all mine,So to all the bikers ride safe, and stay shiny.Cheers beer chug.gif

My thoughts exactly! Been losing layers on the way home in the afternoon. Starting to see all my "fair weather" friends out on 2 wheelers. Sure, I'll be taking the HD out for rides, rain or shine. It's not the same as passing slow traffic, with a couple of inches of snow, in 2wd! feels-good.gif I guess people were starting to "talk" about me anyway. It was only 8 below zero those two days, and it's only 20 miles to work. Happy trails to all this season. thumbsup!.gif

I finaly saw some "fair weather friends" laugh.gif in the past week. But I will admit I only went down to 7 F and I only rode about 10 days a month and my ride to work is about a 2 mile ride with a 15 mile optional detour via the coast of MI one way wub.gif .

Sprayed the engine & rear drive with engine cleaner today and spent about an hour scrubbing a winter full of sand and salt off the old girl.
The back of winter has been broken here in Carver, Massachusetts.
I too have seen the dozens of clean two wheelers travelling the streets.

It is probably the end of real snow in Massachusetts until next fall.
I do remember an April 1st storm a few years ago that dumped over a foot of the heavy wet stuff in Plymouth, MA.

Oh well, it's great to once again be wearing less insulation and freely breathing warm fresh air. rolleyes.gif
