Hello all,decided to go for a spin on the rig to clear the cobwebs and tracy's voice still ringing in my ears-i was using the pillar drill,problem was i'd put it on the kitchen table,and the swarf,well does what swarf does-scratches all it touches.anyway,uncovered the rig and found that some-one had stolen my air filters again,went back to the shed to fetch the old ones.off i go,went about a mile and a half when bang,clatter.my cush drive came apart.parked up,walked back to pick up metal band and metal wire.rode home slowly,applied brakes outside house,they didn't seem to be working very well,i thought what now[words to that effect].took wheels off to check- one of the front brake shoe liners had snapped and come adrift at the leading edge.the same thing had happened to the rear liner.there was plenty of meat on them so i don't know why they failed.i've got my brother in law coming up saturday to rip out the hedge at the top of my garden so i can bring the bike onto my property-maybe it will be a bit safer then.ride safe and free.martyn aberdare : beer!:

Hello Dub,such is life-if this lilly-livered government and do gooders woke up to reality and scrapped the human rights bill [as it stands]and make parents responsible for their degenerate offspring,and get rid of the red tape so that the[decent] police could do their job without fear of a backlash,then maybe we would be part way to a decent society.if the law won't allow kids to be birched,then birch the parents-or even sterilise the bastards so that they can't produce anymore "little darlings"even the threat may be good enough.the older i get the more radicalised i seem to become.what really does annoy me is the fact that these scumbags are untouchable and they know it.the only way that does stop them is to go out wearing a balaclava and carry a base ball bat
