Well Dub you were right, Murphy's is a fine beer, enjoyed it very much, Two of my sons, and one Daughter in law, and myself flew to Dublin 1-14, a week after they had snow, for the first time in 50 years, I am told that the native Irish are much better at skating than driving on snow and ice. Slowly drove down thru Cashel, and then to Skibbreen, wonderrful people, all the way, very sobering visit to the hertiage center in Skibbeen, strangely, found a very limited activity of motorcycles, wet road, mud from farm tractors, leaves, grass, would make for tricky solo, but in MHO , a hack rig would do fine, all in all an extremely pleasant trip, narrow roads and speeding trucks explain why releigous fervor is so strong, everybody prays at all times driving those roads, My son Chris drove all the way, I sat in the left front seat and kept saying.....STAY LEFT!!!, he did most of the time.......
Even with the start of insulin shots to control my new found dibetis, It was a great trip, the good news is I have been able to lower blood sugar from well over 300, to in the 150's today, and I am feeling better than I have in six months, was to the clinic today, and the Doc was real proud, back in the shop with gusto now, All you folks heading to Ireland, have a great and safe trip ( code for watch them dammed trucks).....Ken
