I just talked to Carl about his bike. It seems like a pretty decent setup. The lineal stabilizer is a device between the bike and sidecar that controls the lean. There are controls on the handlebars so that by the touch of a button you can lean in or lean out to compensate for the crown on the road or a sharp curve in the road. It is definately somebodys shop project, swapped engine/drivetrain, disc brakes all around, 12v system. He's asking $4500 for the rig, not interested in trades.
Too bad that Vetter fairing negates the beautiful lines of the /2 bike. The Velorex boat seems to blend in quite well.

Sooo... It doesn't travel through time and space?
I'm a little disappointed!
