It awaits full assembly, black muffler, hack screen , and black gas can.

Hack is in next room awaiting assembly. Went to see it today,finish paper work, prod dealer to get the hack screen & gas can in house to finish it for delivery soooooon!!! Color is not as red as pictures. Color is toned down from fire engine red, still a knock out... thats probably why some photo's show orange which was used to dull the red slightly.

FYI for anybody else interested in this machine... dealer is getting 3 more. He said someone is flying in from Boston to look at mine before they make a decision. Seems they've had calls from all over the country & Canada.

Been thinking..hard for me to do... about the color...hummm...maybe florescence lights??? Color looked like Homelite Red. "Vvvery Interesting "

Bad news for those of us in the Great White North, though... Ural Canada has not placed any orders for the Red October and due to Transport Canada regs they cannot be imported from the USA.

WOW! BEAUTIFUL! I am headed to a local BMW dealership after work to check out the Red October that they just got in a couple of days ago.

Welllll...it's been sitting in the dealers for 10 days assembled and waiting for the add ons. I put my foot down today and said deliver it and send me the parts when they come in. Sooo... I'm expecting it next Tuesday.

Very nice looking bike. I liked the black motor, and it is coming with black ceramic-coated exhaust (apparently in response to consumer demand).

Actually I think the Russians just have one heck of a sense of humor! The piston and sickle is funny! A great parody considering it is named after a book/movie about the cold war with Russia!

It's HERE!! after much delay...don't want to go into it. Of course today it has to be 16f...nor easterner do any minute, and so raw it takes your breath away...so maybe ride tomorrow. Official partisan photo op to follow.

The waiting time is heck, isn't it?

Our last really bad winter was over six years ago. Kept delaying the delivery of my Retro as storms savaged the midwest and shut down trucking. Felt like it took forever to get here!

I think it was named for the The Russian Revolution, not the Tom Clancy, book/movie..
And congrats on the new bike!!!

Either way they do have a sense of humor those crazy Russians!! And it is the coolest!
My dealer was very excited when I took delivery of mine. Compared to my old Tourist this is one amazing beast!
