My 96 Sporty did just fine with her fulltime 2WD and a slightly worn pusher tire....had the knobby spare along but didn't need it. The snow really wasn't deep, two inches tops.....still, a lot of fun. The donuts proved harder once the snow reached the 4 inch deep level but still doable.

No pics of me doing the donuts, must take the video cam with me next time.

With my sporty in the snow I discovered that body English went a long way, There is always more weight on the bike wheel, so the hack'll have a tendency to spin. When hotdogging moving your butt over just a little over the car helps this. You'll get an easy feel for this with a little practice. My old bike could do a foot of snow across a bean field no trouble at all. Watch the high center on the hack, though. You'll need a pull to get out of that. the hack wheel will just spin and spin. I carried a shovel and cross country skis when I did my funnin'. I also had a spike with a d-ring on it. I'd hammer it at a 45 angle away from the rig ans use a come-along to get it out of a fix. (worked great on a friend's MR2 as well)
Have a great time, and don't go faster than your breaks. You already know that, but still... thumbsup!.gif

cheers,
