Those !!!!!!! at AAA would not cover the towing on my rig. Said they do not cover sidecars. Ck S'ng Fning son of a hr cross you knees with a 2x4! Caused me to pay for MoTow from AMA. Average wait time on them is 4 hours. I've heard AAA will cover the rig if you go for the extended package that covers RV's and boats.

if you would have read your coverage they only will tow if you have the extra coverage for motorcycles and RVs. but to me that just one more way of getting in you pocket !

That sucks Ken. CAA, the Canadian partner to AAA, was the only auto club that would cover a motorcycle at all. I did have to get the Plus coverage.

I have had the AAA plus RV for years, cause I drive junk and with the plus package, they will tow you a hundred miles. I have an old one ton truck they won't tow that without the extended coverage and I have used it for that a couple of times.

Don't be shy, Ken, tell us how you really feel.. smile.gif

Dending on your insurance carrier, sometimes they provide MC services. I have Foremost and they include roadside assistance as part of the insurance package. I've never used it so I can't comment on how it works, but I feel better knowing there is at least something backing me up. Otherwise I'd probably spring for Motow or some other MC-specific roadside assistance.

Just make sure you ask for a rollback with the wrecker request and the insurance company will never know.

I have had AAA plus for a number of years, and it had served me well, one time had a tranny go south on the pick-up 110 miles from home in Alaska in mid winter, they were there in 3 hours and a 110 mile ride cost me nothing. All in All you get what you pay for, ONLY trouble I ever had was a PUNK tow truck driver in Memphis who was going to hook up jumper cables backwards....he didn't....Ken rant.gif

There was a factory made pink desert camo rig made by CMSI Ural, but I don't thing that is it. The pattern looks too big. It is old, though. Note the front drum brake and machine gun mount...
