Probably something obvious, but when I call up a message on the board I used to see all the responses as messages. Now all I see are just the headers in a "tree" layout and have to click each individual "stem" to read the message. What am I missing???

This is how you fix it....

Select a particular thread, where you see the hierarchical tree format you describe. At the top, above the very first message and under Add Reply New Topic, you will see a button called Options. Click that and find where it says Display Modes, and select Switch to Standard.
