Is there a shooting range somewhere near there? I found this one but not sure if it's in the area or not.
Trevorton - Zerbe Township Rod & Gun Club, Sportsman's Drive, Trevorton, PA 17881.

Nothing is close to Weikert...

The area is full of state game lands, but I don't know of any public ranges close.  There may be some around.

Trevorton is over and hour east of Weikert.

Here is a list of Game commission public ranges.
http://www.pgc.state...s...80&q=161297
The Center County range is over an hour west.

I sent the PA State Forestry map to Kinko's today.  They are printing it full size (20" x 25.5") and laminating it.

Beer update.  I secured 1 case of Baltika #3 today.  That's 20 500ml bottles of pure Russian goodness.  NJ Ken is bringing some as well, probably the high test #9.

I also have a brand new set of flags to fly over Little Siberia - Russian & American.

I've got 2 cases of #9 waiting to go.  I can be there thusday. Maybe I should try to squeeze in another case for the extra day.

Big Larry are you going to be showing us around some off road trials?  I'll bring my GPS. OoohRah! What's playing at the drive in thursday night?

The Sportmans's Club is in Weikert, PA.  Just get close and look for the RDV signs...

I have a case of #9 cans ready to go.   Looking forward to some #3s Larry.
I've been thinking about trying to get something else a little lighter.

Max, put Weikert into your favorite map program and look for the signs.  The Sportsmans Club is before the"town".  Or look earlier in the thread for the "unknown road" info and put it in google maps.

A word of warning . . . the signs for the RDV say "ISOK" on them not RDV.  If you go looking for RDV signs you'll never find the place.

The signs are also fairly small, white and usually at the base of other road signs.

See everyone this weekend,  I'm heading North tomorrow.
I have a case of Baltika #9 and another Russian lager Yarpivo original :thumbsup!:
Yarpivo I think means beer (pivo) from Yaroslavl(located in central Russia)
Beer for everyone in Little Siberia :beerchug:

Junkle,  good call on the ISOK signs.

I'm all packed and will leave at 0700 tomorrow. See y'all there in the afternoon sometime!

Alot of the stuff I built to bring  there got sold already, so I kept on working until 10 at night all this last week.

I have a cool one of a kind Olive Drab tonneau/windshield skirt and side curtain set to show and sell there. But you have to be at RDV to see it! I got ahold of some OD boat top canvas the military uses. Some super high grade poly fabric made for five years of outdoor use. It's used on tops for military trucks and in the Navy on boat canvas. The stuff is so tough and has no stretch that its a bear to work with. But for you Sportsman and Gear Up folks, it may be just what you need!

See y'all there tomorrow.

Since my truck and trailer and that neat home made tent for it are all at new homes now, I had to downsize to a 10 x 10 umbrella canopy. But I did get three silver tarps to hang as side curtains for it if it rains!  :feelssogood:  Not as much shade as the old set up, but it'll help!

Ron Dee Voo was great. Great weather, got lots of riding in, rode to the drive in, met some new friends, enjoyed the company of old friends. This was my first foil hat competition. I think we got 11 foil hats altogether, this was the best group shot I could find. It just dawned on me today, Bob and Rich how come you were not up there?

Here are some more photos:  http://public.fotki....n-deh-voo-2008/
It was great meeting you all!  I will be sure to wear a foil hat in the next time. If anything, Baltika beer should be the main sponsor of this group. i think there was a record set on drinking the most of Baltika beer in one day on the continent of North America!  Many interesting rigs, but overall, i got convinced that the second bike will be a Ural. Yep, I saw the light.
