Howdy UPG-U,

I had a lot of fun while at Triquest meeting you and all the other folks really made my day.  I sure like the look of your rig and the cool hack door you have made.

I am now in Paso Robles, I'll be in Lancaster tomorrow and then it's on to Hesperia for a day before crossing over into Nevada.  Thanks for coming to the gathering, have a great summer.

This tour is a great thing to be doing.  I was unable to make the Triquest thing, but I look forward to meeting you and hopeful others that I have found exist due to this "little" trip of yours.  The house is a wreck but your bed is waiting.

Howdy Cpres,

I arrived at John's home a couple of hours ago, I am catching up on the ride report and emails.  It was a bit warm on the way to John's home but not as bad as I was told it would be.  I'll see you tomorrow. :thumbsup!:

PS. Please don't worry about the shape your house is in, "I" am a wreck so I will feel right at home.  I have felt intimidated by some of the nice homes I have stayed in, I am much more comfortable in a lived in home then a showcase house.

COB,
If you get a chance, take the Gear Up on any of these roads:  Apache Trail from Apache Junction up to the lakes (Saguaro, Apache, Canyon, and Roosevelt) NE of Phoenix; US 60 through Salt River Canyon, US 89A Wickenburg-Prescott-Jerome-Sedona-Flagstaff, or one of the world's great motorcyclng roads, US 191 (aka the former US 666 aka The Anti-Christ Hwy as we used to joke) from Clifton-Morenic up to Kearney-Springerville.  These are obviously going in several different directions.

But 191 is 425 curves in 125 miles as it goes up from the desert and over the White Mountains.

Really enjoying the trek.  If you need a place to bunk in Bend on the way back, let me know.
Once you go hack, you'll never go back.
