Please don't get me wrong, Gold Wings are awesome bikes, and a large majority of the people that own them are real enthusiasts, and when the weather is nasty the wingers and BMW riders are about the only ones still out there riding.

Oh Driveshaft...don't forget those Triumph riders...they ride rain or shine.....oh and Ural riders are like the post office rain, shine, sleet, snow....

I do wish Ural offered that canopy.  My riding buddy would sure love it in the rain.  I keep dreaming of designing my own, but never have the time.  Chris

When my Dnepr is worn out, I'll sell it as a classic and buy a Ural. Though Dnepr is a better machine, Ural is better built. I expect for Ural to catch up and for me to eat my hat.

In any case, I was a total BMW/Zundapp freak, unable to afford a K750 Zundapp or it's lessor sister the R75. I stumbled upon my Dnepr MT-16. Now that I'm here with the junker crowd, I realize I'm home. I'm in love with my Dnepr.

Where is the next BMW rally, I intend to crash it with my Dnepr, towing my K500 Zundapp. F'em if they can't take a joke.

Long live the Ural;
Mark A
