I am sorry to relay that Fredda Cole, holder of a world speed record on a Ural at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2001, has passed away due to complications from the flu. She was a longtime Ural enthusiast and an amazing lady and will be missed.

Here's Fredda and the rest of the SST at Bonneville.  In the back, Grant and Steve; in the front, Phoenix (the bike), Fredda and Aubrey.  She will be deeply missed.

Oh Great Bummer! What sad news of Fredda's passing!!

When  ever she was in Seattle we got to enjoy her company, including Ural rides. We would loan our Ural Rigs to her while in town.
We will miss her. Our condolences to her Family and Husband Russ.
Sigh...
