I recently purchased a 1974 dnepr   that dosen,t have a driven sidecar wheel. what do you have to do to convert it to a driven sidecar wheel?

Different:
- swing arm
- final drive
- sidecar body and frame
Addition
- sidecar driveshaft

My thoughts, just purchase a MT16 (2wd version) or enjoy your 1wd drive variant.  
Personally, I prefer the 1wd models.

I would just enjoy the 1wd.
