my original K750 mudguard maybe beyond economic repair.
It's a single piece one.

I would love a hinged one but that seems unlikely. even single piece k750 ones are hard

How much of a good fit are the plentiful MT ones ? Are they a close physical appearance - what about the mounting brackets

thanks

Here it is: http://www.oldtimerg...roducts_id=3322 or this one: http://www.oldtimerg...roducts_id=5258

The MT rear mudguard does not fit exactly on a short Frame K750, the MT has a different bracket then the K750. I have a friend who has mounted a MT bracket and mudguard on a K750 but it was not easy, he has forced the mudguard to fit in.

I already saw.
His 120 euro one isn't far off my existing mudguard and the 180 euro one is pretty expensive for a used one.

How about a long frame K750 ? Is it a better fit on that ?
if not, then I am taking a long hard look at mine and finding someone with better welding skills than me to try and repair it.

From what I know the K750 long frame has the same mudguards with the MT but I will ask a friend of mine who knows better.

Luca.
Not to worry - I found the info on how to tell long from short frame.
I have a short frame and so my first ( and maybe only ) option is to try and repair what I have

Short frame fenders are hard to find, my advice is to repair the old one. I will show my rear fender for my K750 short frame, I will recover the fender no mather what.

Did you get the fender fixed? I have one hinged K-750 fender on good shape.

If the fender is up for grabs, I will definitely take it!
