Hi all,

I was just wondering something, did any of the Dnepr MT series (10, 10.35, 11 or 16) come stock with a side valve engine like a K750 type?

My google searches have only shown them with a 650cc over head valve engine.

I have seen one with a 750 SV engine and wondered if it was a replacement engine. Don't know if it 6 or 12 volt.

It has the squarish looking fuel tank, leg protectors fitted, reverse box. The engine and gearbox look like what is on my K750 and the distributor cover plate is the round not rectangle type with the Dnepr logo on it.
Wheels are similar to K750 and this has the driven sidecar wheel and swing arm type chassis so probably an M type.

Any ideas?

Thanks all.

The Dnepr MTs only came with the overhead valve 650.

MT12 had a sidevalve engine.  It is a possibility you saw one.

Certainly you saw MT-12. It's civil version of armybike MW750M. It has 6 volt electric  installation and sidecar wheel drive. It also is called Dnepr.
