Gents,
She is running like at top.. At 1,500 more km then when I got here-  no oil added-no leaks- and she starts with 2 or 3 kicks.

The Ural 650 is solid motor. Keep the carbs balanced and you shouldn't have any problems with the crank.

Also keep road speeds down. Highway speeds seem to be crank shaft killers for the 650 cc engines.

Anyone know of where I might find a type 1 ignition  box like on this bike?
I would like to do the diode upgrade and have a spare here...

Well I had a good rake in my spares box and the only thing I have left is a mk1 pick-up and back plate. I think the boxes went to one of the guys here still running the mk1 system a couple of years ago. Sorry!
