Here is my new project, I just couldn't pass up the deal to buy it.

A Dnepr MT-9 1973.

The plan is to get it through the tax registration and MOT, with as little work as possible, and then restore it at a later stage.

I also would Not Restore...Folks are paying good Money for Fake Patina these days!!!!!!
Undisturbed Tank and front fender, and good to go....Someone would probably trade Ya!!!

Unfortunately the tank is not original, as it is red underneath the black paint, and the front fender has been lightly sanded and painted black over the original green.

I have considered just cleaning of the black paint on the frame and fender, but it has been sanded down to bare metal in several places.

crossed karelia with Big James. gravel road near border of finland. kostomuksha, gimoly, porosozero, suoyarvi, ruskeala, sortavala...lot of sovietbikes on a villages trash place.  dnepres with engines, finals, wheels...i took 1 gearbox. porosozero looked on 11 dnepres wheels as hill.
