First commute to work of the year saw me being passed by a Vincent twin....more accurately, an HRD from 1947.  Then today I met a bloke.  He went by on his Golden Flash BSA, the returned on his Thunderbolt he's owned since 1972.  I later went out on the R50 and stopped by his place as I saw a mate (who knows the BSAs owner - in fact, they both also have BSA Slopers which the former gave spares to get the latter running) having a chat while out on his old Jawa.
Small suburb, so many bikes of interest!  Just with I had had a camera when I went for my hernia surgery....there was a BMW R12 going the other way.  An R12!  Just how many of them go by you on the road?  Probably as many as '47 HRDs pass you on your commute....
Rambling, I know....just so happy there's this wealth of old bikes around me!
