He has all the blueprints except the distributor (cap, mount and Rotor). It needs to be sketched or a blueprint since it's the dimensions that he wants. He already have pictures...

Happy for all help I can get, helping him with this...

Woe, Pete, that's incredible! How can we help? My CAD skills are weak. I do have loads of photos though, if those would be of any value....

The only thing he needs are blueprints of the distributor parts distributor cap, rotor and mount, if there are no blueprints with dimensions I guess he will need a drawing or a sketch with all the dimensions on everything... But I have a feeling that there are blueprints somewhere, maybe in the M72 books. I'm 270km from home right now, where all my books are.

He says that he has a lot of pics already, and needs dimensions on some kind of drawing. He don't actually have an M72 himself...

These are Art!

Is there a rendering of the bottom end of the forks yet? I need a pic showing plunger end, washers, nuts, axle, etc. My forks are leaking and I don't know what's supposed to be there per the factory....

Nope no pics of that yet, everything is "loose" parts and bits for the moment and will be put together when he has all the parts... The sooner we can help him with the ignition parts the sooner we will be able to see the pictures we want/need to see...

Okay, this is what I found so far but it's for CJ 750,  I figure the dimensions would be about the same... Would be really, really good if someone could put the parts on a white paper with black lines for width, height and depth (3 dimensions) and metric dimensions numbers written beside as exact as possible, photograph them with a ruler beside so the pictures could have better resolution (bigger pictures) then the ones I found, so it would be easier for him to figure out how to use the ruler on the picture to get all the different dimensions... Holes and so on...

I also see now that the distributor looks different from CJ to M72... Are there different types of distributors for M72 too, or it is only between CJ and M72?

I looks to me that he is modelling the first type of M72 (Low front fender, sidecar frame over sidecar wheel... I will tell him to change the gussets)... Pre 1948, or am I wrong???
