All right folks, I am back from my traveling for work and it is time to nail down this whole CRAP thing!! There have been some asking what to bring, what is needed, and most importantly-Whats for dinner?? . The intent is to have food for folks from Friday at lunch on through Sunday breakfast (there will be leftovers for those that want to eat before heading home at lunch time). The following list is things that are needed for those that can to bring in:
-Cases of water (the more the better)
-Charcoal
-Fruit (seedless grapes, strawberries, kiwi, mellons, pineapple, ect) for fruit salad.
-Eggs
-Sausage
-Bacon
-Chips
-Any food dishes that are favorites of yours
-Drinks-soda, juices, ect any drinks put into the community coolers are community property.
-any "R" rated drinks...these will have their own coolers and remember, any of these put into the community coolers........you know the rest!!
If anyone can bring any of these items (or any items you think would come in handy)-post it here (or send me a note) so that folks know what has been offered up.
I have done an inventory of the items I have from last year and we do not need any utensils, napkins, garbage bags, or plates.
We do have access to a refrigerator, freezer, oven, ect that can keep food good if needed
So okay folks, lets get this nailed down and show those that have never been to a CRAP and those coming in from out of town what we are all about!!!
John

No.  Wife, Mom-inlaw and kid are going to grandma's house which is about 30 miles from the ralley. I will cary the brood in the cage and trailer the rig to grandma's and ride from there.

Guys I will be trailering in if the dnepr is running then but need a idea of the best motel choice close thinking sanford or silar city. The wife needs a motel not too hept on tents so I will comply. I will watch the list and can bring whatever is most helpful. The reason I am asking about motel is a friend used to go to ft bragg and he advised against sanfor. Any thoughs?   Dennis

There are a couple of hotels in Sanford.  Some look pretty good and some....not so much.  I would Google hotels in Sanford, NC.  If you have a question about any of them, ask me and I'll check them out.

Going to try our best to make this ralley and with that in mind I'm wondering what folks will be bringing from the list above.  Trying to avoid the "100 bags of chips and no bacon" scenario and also thought it might be helpful to others as well.  Thanks in advance,
Todd

So far we have a great turn out and quite a few folks bringing stuff out for the food throw down.  Here is a partial list of who has posted that they are bringing:
-LawtonLily-Eggs, table, cooler, spare tent, firewood
-lorij7-Side dishes, snacks, labor for fruit salad, marshmellows, cooler
-niteblues59-water, fire water.....
-DneprTim-Water
-piper1ru4-Chocolate, strawberries, graham crackers
-rougaroo-charcoal, cooler
-Shadrach-spare dog?????
-Troll-BBQ
-Earlybroncogirl-Pork Butt
-digitalebola- water
-Pursley1 is bringing a lot of fruit and drinks
-Jake will bring some additional eggs.......I know you folks like your eggs for breakfast.
-Dwight.....you folks just won't believe what he and his wife brings out for food.
-I and Robbie (the better half) will cook friday at lunch, help with dinner (Dwight does that), Breakfast the next a.m. (bacon or sausage would be good for someone to bring), lunch will be BBQ and even more of Dwight's food, Dinner will be low country boil and stuff left over from lunch, Again Breakfast Sunday a.m. Dwight's wife will have some pastries and I'll do more eggs and stuff, and lunch will be leftovers and dogs.  Dinner Sunday will be on you!!!
These are the things that have been posted to give folks who want to/can bring things an idea what else is needed.  Remember, if you are riding the rig in or are coming from a long way-just bring your camping gear and we'll take care of the rest.  And if you don't have camping gear-come on out anyway cause you be taken care of.
Hope this answers your question Duckyde
