Okay,

I will not be having my usual Pig Roast this year again.  But I would like to extend an invite to SCARF a bunk of malted beverages, food and camping at my place on the 3rd Saturday in August.  You can come up on Thursday or Friday and Stay till Monday if you like.  I will have some grub and beer here.  No Cover charge,  Once we get organized if we need any food or drink we will take turns running out to get it as required.  We might do a ride on Saturday, or we might eat, drink, play horse shoes, swim and sit around the campfire till the wee hours.  Probably the later.  If you come on Thursday we could ride Friday.

Lets have a Bash.  try to free up time for this.  I have plenty of room for rigs, trailers and camper if you like.

I will tally folks who plan to attend on the first thread here.

Just a BUMP to give you time to plan.

A weekend of camping, eating and general comradery Aug 20 Ė 23 in Thomaston Ct. 06787

As of today, our plan is to ride out on Thursday evening to meet with some of our Northern Brethren from the CURD collective and escort them to my place.  They are coming down the western side of the Adirondacks and heading in through western Mass.

Friday folks should start coming in to set camp.  Saturday after breakfast we will do a 75 mile ride and back to my place for some swimming, horse shoe, eating and story telling.

WE have a lot of folks planning on showing, Let me know and I will add you to the tally.

Well, it took me some time to get approved by Russian Iron MC to post, but I'd like to let you know that I'd love to drop in on your get-together.  I'm a newbie, owner of a 2009 Ural Patrol, and pretty ignorant.  But I've turned almost 1,000 km on my odo. and I'm getting the hang of it.  I can also claim that I was rescued by distinguished RIMC member Hal Kolding when I broke a rocker arm riding up Avon Mountain last February (March?).  He gave me an afternoon of his time and effort, trailering my busted bike home.

I get the feeling there is a nice group of folks around these crazy bikes, and I look forward to meeting some more of you.

Bobby didn't like you pig at CRAP?  :thumbsup!: Everyone else liked it.

I'll be at SCARF. Do you have room for my big tent or do I have to crawl into my little tent? Do you have extra cooler space for two cases of Russian beer?

I didn't say I didn't like the pig, it was very good for a Yankee! :thumbsup!:  He even taught me a thing or two about his Cuban seasonings, after i threatened to hold his rig hostage!

I know you'll all have a great time at QBalls, wish I could be there...maybe next year.
