I started with a new Ural seat pan, bumpers and front stud bumper & nut. Bumpers wired on with SS wire. New vinyl pan edging bonded on too. Foamed with extra firm foam and sculpted wide for great bum and thigh support. Step is 18" back and the seat is 15" wide! This is why I call them "Road Sofa's" folks! It has a soft layer of top padding as well as soft foam inside the tapered pleats for cushiness. The cover is heavy and supple 32 oz. marine grade vinyl in a black oxen grain pattern. Double stitched seams. All seams back coated with urethane cement to improve durability and water resistance. The "Ypan" sewn on the back will show other foil heads your enthusiasm for Urals as well as confuse innocent bystanders. This seat is a bit taller than stock with plenty of room to move around and move back if you wish. This is the most comfortable type of solo seat I can make!
Cost is $400 shipped in the USA. Overseas buyers will get a $20 discount on their shipping.
Fits any Ural made for a bench seat.
If your bike is not equipped with a bench seat already, you'll need the attachment brackets that fit on the frame/fender. Those are available from dealers.
I only have a couple more of these NOS pans to use. After that I can only build these on customer supplied pans and the cost will still be $400! That makes this one a bargain and you get it outright for the price of rebuilding your own seat.
