That article just isn't right. Like rjmidge- the Jersey Devil chased me once. I'll show you where. The sightings occur once in a while still (although some have turned out to be escapees from Ancora Psychiatric Hospital), but the Piney's don't tell everyone and the dirt bikers aren't allowed to ride there anymore, so they can't tell anyone either.

I'll share some of those stories around the campfire when it gets late Saturday night...

And Ancora is not very far from where we'll be...know a couple of stories about that place too.

Stories that can only be spoken in low tones, after dark, and definately not on a full moon.

I was hoping, crossing my fingers and praying that I would have my 2004 Patrol registered/titled in time to attend this rally. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten IMWA and NJMVA to establish that the VIN of my Ural is actually a Ural. This is very disappointing.

I was looking forward to learning a few tips/tricks from you more experienced riders, but that will have to wait until next year (spring?).

:thumbsup!:

Ken, did you reserve a dozen sites again? Should we call and reserve or just pay for one you have on hold?

No worries, Rob.  There should be plenty of room.  Are you flying solo or will you have a monkey?

Scott, we'll be back next June.  But, if you've go nothing better to do come on down and share your devil tales anyway.

Bob and I have both said we'll be arriving around noon on Friday.  Anyone else making it for lunch?

I heard from them today. They have us down for 5 including Bob's site with hookups. From what I've heard that should be about right. I got 4 definates and 3 maybes. If there are more they should be able to get you somewhere close. The place never fills up except when there are special events.

I spent a day with the hunters. And what a day that was! Thank you Dave(recycled) for letting me be the designated hack monkey. Weather was superb and the trails are a lot of fun. Next time hopefuly i will get an offroader to join you guys.
Here are some shots.

It would be most advisable to select option Slide Show and watch it.

Does anyone have any photos to post? Come to think of it - we got no photos of Dave's bike in action.

I didn't take many pics, and I blew the couple of action shots I tried.

Here's one of Ian and Pete going for a swim, but I didn't get the one with a big splash on the return.

Ken and I rode a couple of hours Sunday afternoon just on the other side of rte 206.  I think they were the best trails of the weekend but I was too busy riding to take pics.  :feelssogood:    We did find the some of the damage from last month's fire.  Here's a photo of new growth sprouting.
