Hi Jim

No more photo's or info yet I'm affraid

I made the seller an offer of 1000 including delivery to the Uk if the bike runs and the correct front end is included, he declined my offer.

I'm waiting to see what price he comes back with, I'm in no hurry to buy a bike so we shall see

That offer seems fair to me. Running might be too much to hope for! But if it's all there it shouldn't take much to get it started. You'll be weeks stripping and cleaning everything anyway. Good luck! Let us know what happens.

What alot of people don't seem to get is that if you want a patina vehicle you find the bike or car with the best patina possible, everything else can be fixed but patina can't be faked

Of all the M72's I've found so far this is the ownly bike I would be interested in

We shall see what the owner comes back with as I won't go much higher than my origional offer

Leaving the patina doesn't exclude cleaning it though, right? Or is original dirt and old oil part of the charm?

Everything would be cleaned, degreased and fully serviced with parts replaced where needed to make the bike safe and reliable

I dig it- the first one especially. Do they have lift kits, or do you just scrape your way along?
