Just purchased a 1975 Izh Planeta 350 Sport! Have begun taking it apart to retore. I'm looking for anyone who has a similar bike to discuss available parts and such.

Nice moto!
I saw that bike for sale a few years back,
I have a Planeta 5 and have only needed very few parts.  This one will be a little more difficult due to rarity (body, carb, extras).
Try contacting Matti at Minskspares for parts.

I have begun taking bike apart. Back tire all polished up, waiting parts ordered from http://motaki.ru/ind...ategory&path=80

Girlfriend is not too happy about bike parts all over the house and on the kitchen table  , but she's a good sport and very supportive :thumbsup!:

I'm not sure about the magneto yet, will find out when it's time to start it up. I can get the part at http://motaki.ru/ind...on/home  What are you riding now?

Daughter #2's 6th birthday.  Cake and stuff - nice!  And her feet soon touch the rear pegs.....so she'll be having rides on Dad's bike! :-)
Slightly sad....my babies are getting big.  Don't miss the sleepless nights....but I really loved them as babies.  Love them as pre teens (sort of....#1 at 9 years starting the teenager nonsense) but there's something about the wee babs.  Never mind - get my Ural done ready for them to ride :-D
