We were amazed at the quality of metal parts. They were practically no corrosion after 40 years in the heavy Russian climate. We wanted to refurbish two scooters. so that each had his scooter 1974 release. We had to buy a third scooter. After weeks of searching, we bought it. He was in fair condition. Its engine is wound up, after we put there are new battery.

Very interesting machines. When you consider how long they were outside in all kinds of weather, they are in amazingly good condition. Good luck! I like that shed in the background, I'd love to have it here in New York.

The first one without wheels, we named him "Legless"))), stood in the open air for about 10 years. The second scooter (blue and white) likely stood in the garage for a long time. It was no corrosion. We named him "Excellent". Third scooter also stood in the garage for a long time, but he was the most used. He traveled a lot. Third scooter we named "Kolhoznik"  this means - Farmer....redneck.
Kolhoznik wonderful work after changing the oil, replace the battery, and some works.
We had 3 days of pleasure))  After 3 days Kolhoznik had broken ((( Chain was demaged and fun is over

We were in time to the appointed term. The scooter is ready, it is started and goes. To a place of a festival there was a distance of 30 km. We decided to help the old man, shipped the scooter in the trailer. Unloaded it for 3 km. to a festival.
We jumped on the scooter and reached to a festival.
At the festival there were many good expensive bikes. Harleys, Gold Wing, BMW, but our scooter wasn't deprived of attention.
Many people approached and with a smile spoke -" At me (fathers, grandfathers) was such in the childhood (youth, a maturity). It is very cool scooter)) Good fellows that restored it ".

It too very much was pleasant to girls))
