looks like a great idea . but so was the rotary engine and look what happened to that

Agree, electrical powered stuff with Graphene batteries (supercapacitors) is just around the corner to... Drive your car for 1000km then recharge it in just minutes... Exiting times...

One of the things that kept the Wankel from really taking off was the poor fuel efficiency, caused primarily by the fact that the combustion chamber moved while combusting which shed a lot of energy (heat) out the casing instead of using it to push the rotor. Since this chamber moves as well, I wonder if it will have the same disadvantage.

An ingenious idea though!
