I am posting here for a friend of mine who build carburetor kits for russian boxer engines, all Dnepr and Urals. These carbs are a good chinese copy of Mikuni carbs and it works just fine on russian boxers engines: good start, smooth runing and good consumption.

Complete kit contains:

1. Two carburetors
2. Air tubes
3. Flange adapters on cylinder

Hi guys !

Here a small video with the carbs functioning on a 65o Ural
https://youtu.be/0ROb7efGXEM

On Dnepr
https://youtu.be/lz5vl2yLoZM

On Kmz K75oy
https://youtu.be/tSDQWNa34nU

https://youtu.be/4_R-9msETFI

So... I come up with this idea because the Russian carbs
If are not new genuine Pekar create leaks problems, have big consumption
and make the spark plug black wich determine the engine to run badly or to stop
I think I have a big experience in repair this russian bike.s not because I was a big fan of sidecars but because I was forced to use this every day in my transportation needs. I live in an Est European country and for change my daily Russian Ij Planet V for an Ura I forced torrestrain my expences for two years until I reach the amount of 6oo$ to buy it. For not long time ago sidecar bike.s was considered here similar with horse wagon.s and treated this way

So... many persons decided to change the carbs when the bike don't start wich I considered wrong. A bad carburetor turns black quickly a new spark plug, but start the bike easily. If the bike refuses to start after replacement of the spark plug.s 9o% don't blame it on the carbs.

The vacuumatic carbs improve very much the running of the engine and allows you to make a decent drive without fear that the sidecar will stops in traffic.

A disadvantage of those carbs will be that under 5o Fahrenheit the bike will not starting easily when engine is cold. That because the Chinese carb do not have the drowning sistem.

If someone considering that I am able to give him an advice regarding some sidecars  bike I will be glad to help him

To make it  an idea about what I spoke, in my country, 28 years ago was nearly forbidden to have a new car. It will need in advance payment  (somewhere between 5ooo and 14 ooo $ depending of the exchange scale ) and was a minimum 2 years waiting time. It's  also strictly forbidden to have driving licence if not detained a vehicle. First buying vehicle then request driving licence. In the last period my father use to use 2 german bike.s for his transportation needs. One sidecar and one sollo for rapid arrival. Happily one it's still in my posesion :-)
