Hi does anyone know about this software and how does it work? and is it true and it will not work with out the dealer selling the hardware

(bluetooth) ? any help

 

IMWA still needs to start selling the Bluetooth interface to the public before you can connect to your bike.

Interesting. I've been wondering how that project was progressing.

Happily, my two Urals have no use for that app.

Is the port on the bike a standard OBD II port? If so there are a couple of great dongles on Amazon that come with great software. You can get just about everything you could with a professional unit.

If your budget is more limited and your device has wifi access this works decently although not as thorough as the one above.

I have one of each. The cheap one doesn't come with software, but there are universal apps that support it. Instead of Bluetooth it is a wifi 'router' that you connect to. Once connected you fire up the software and you are off and going.
