guzzidude
Dnpr1 CRAP Rally by mrogers2009, on Flickr I am selling my baby. Those of you that know me and have seen the bike (CRAPPERS), feel free to chime in. Muzzleflash, you still took the best pic, thanks. I am going to post it on CL and possibly ebay as well. I will give first dibs on RI and SS members. Had a hard time pricing it as there's no real comparisons. Here's the post I am going to use on CL, but edited for you all that are well-informed. The CL ad will be geared a little toward laymen. Here we go: Beautiful Dnepr MT-11 restored to resemble a 60s/70s K650. I have owned the bike for six years and completed the restoration in 2015. It has been a labor of love for these bikes since I got interested in 2002. I purchased the bike from a reputable flat twin motorcycle legend in SW NC, who sorted out the major mechanicals. The rest of the work/maintenance was done personally since 2011 (with some help of course). You will probably not find another Dnepr this nice or well cared for in the United States (true not wheeler dealer talk). Runs, shifts, and handles well and as it should. Later style motor with factory electric start and spin-on oil filter. Electrical was all gone through, cleaned, and simplified/updated. K68 carbs have been sorted and updated with Kohler needle. Every inch of the bike was completely stripped of the Russian paint and primer before bodywork/painting. Tires are in great shape (even USSR spare). Clean NC title in hand (titled as 1973). johnR
I can personally vouch for this rig. I saw it "before" and "after"-solid rig down to its core. :thumbsup!:

guzzidude
I think so. He's still getting shipping quotes. Should be leaving soon. Looking at importing a Lada or maybe a LuAZ. I'm crazy I know
luca.stere
I think so. He's still getting shipping quotes. Should be leaving soon. Looking at importing a Lada or maybe a LuAZ. I'm crazy I know I had a Lada 1500, it was my first car back in 1997 and I had it for one year. Good car, try to find one in Canada, I know that at a point Canada has imported east european cars. LuAZ has some charm as a utility vehicle, very rare in Romania. Not very fast, V4 engine air cooled and a good ground clearance.
guzzidude
Cool. My girl got loaded up for Chicago the day before last. It was sad seeing it in a trailer. She started right up and was ready to go. She was a good one. A friend in Canada is in Russia as of yesterday and will help to find a car. He said a lot of the Canadian cars are rotten if found or people want too much. Seems the same here as far as pricing. Which is good if I wanted to sell it.
