Windscreens!

I've been toying with the idea of a windscreen for the Ural and would be interested in hearing from others who've fitted one. A picture would be great too.

I've fitted them to previous bikes with varying levels of success with regard to wind buffeting and although I like the benefits they can provide I hate buffeting! I was going to fit a low screen just to reduce impact on the body but I tried an old after-market one that I had in the shed and the buffeting was bad........

Thanks

pictures Italian manufacturer of universal windshield.

Is free of vibration and lead without the driver's face, and the instrument panel is on the inside. I recommend the manufacturer has Giwi.Attached to the handlebars

Plenty to choose from in Oz depending on what takes your fancy.

The MRA universal custom shield looks good to me and eaglescreens have heaps to choose from also. I've previosusly dealt with eaglescreens and they seem keen to help and respond to email enquiries. I'm still undecided but thats not unusual for me!

Mike, I would like to have one of those for my Enfield, nearly did except the freight was rather high.

I was lucky to find the fairing on sale here in NZ but without the brackets to fit it on. I could have made something but there are bracket sets available (in the UK) which I bought. Got around the postage issue by using my sister as a "mule" as we were going to all meet up in the family house for Xmas :-)

Of course, there's other options - I think a Ural or Dnepr would look quite nice with one of these

The first one is a Memphsis Shades Classic Deuce. Fits well around a 7" headlight. Don't know if it is available down under. The other one is a R90S fairing with an afetrmarket shield on it. Gives good protection and little buffeting.
