  1. Sorry for the multiple posts. Windows 10 sucks.
  2. Does any one have any experience with buying parts from Russian Garage? I have a 1995 Ural w/ 650 motor. This place has a lot of 650 parts at a very reasonable price. I see that they take PayPal so I'm curious if they are legit.

  5. I had a similar problem. It turned out to be electrical, and as I found out later, 2 intermittent electrical problems. It ran until it got hot then quit. Would not start until it cooled a bit. Bad Russian coil. I replaced it with a Harley type coil kit from Crawford. It worked most of the time. While trying to sort out the starting problem again, I brushed by the ignition key and the lights flickered. Jiggle the key and the lights went on / off. It was a bad ignition switch. Replaced that and no more problems. I don't know if that is your problem but it's worth checking. Good Luck.
  6. I had the same problem. See my solution posted in "Nuts & Bolts" section on March 20, 2016. I have Mikuni 28 carbs on my 650 that have a 35mm opening. I found that Polaris part #1251070 & Arctic Cat part #0109-926 will fit. I searched these numbers on ebay and found them readily available for about $12 each.
  7. I have a 1995 Tourist w/ approx. 4000 mi. on it. I haven't ridden it much since I got it. I've been sorting out multiple electrical and carb / fuel problems, but I'm almost at the end. I needed new carb flanges. I worked with Gene at Holopaw, and he told me that Ural only used the Mikunis on the 650 for 3 years. The flange with a 35mm opening and a 55mm bolt pattern for the VM28 was no longer available. I did some sniffing around on ebay and found a listing for a Mikuni VM28 carb flange for Polaris and Arctic Cat snowmobiles.(Polaris part #1251070 ; Arctic Cat #0109-926) They have a 35mm opening and 2 1/4" (57mm) bolt pattern with 5/16"dia. holes. They go for about $10 to $13 each and fit perfectly.

  9. Yep. That's correct for me. Thanks Again....Joe M.
  10. Yep. It's a 1995 Tourist. Sorry about all the duplicate posts. I had to "upgrade" to Windows 8. It stinks, a very clunky operating system. I sent you a message with the address. Thank You.
  11. Sorry for the multiple posts. The photo was too large to attach. I had to modify it. I hope it works this time.
