    Bodies

The last slide said "John Zaller and Judy Geller, curators of "Bodies . . . the Exhibition," stand near a posed cadaver and a skeleton. The exhibit uses cadavers from China, which has raised questions about whether they were properly obtained." Hummmm, "properly obtained?" What difference does it make now. I'll wager they fulfilled their (the bodies) obligations on death row and on to a mass grave. Or unmarked. As long as they're not posed in XXX Rated fashion or some sort of comical series I guess it's ok. That is if you're into that sort of thing. I'm not I would think pre-med students or medical collages should benefit from it.
  2. I like your way of thinking Marty. Except for the "watch American Idol" or "go to Paris Hilton's blog site" Mac

    God Bless Texas!

Hey Buckeye. Howdy from this transplanted Wolverine!!! Been here 7 years. Weather's fine. A bit hot in July and August though. They all laugh at me when I wear a hoody and shorts in the winter though. Texans blood is rather thin...*winkin*...not like the anti-freeze in our veins we northerners have. Try the Ft. Worth area. I'm south of Ft. Worth. I love Texas I usually go to San Antone for some kind of school or another. On my time off I usually find my way to Luckenbach Texas (about 60 miles N-E) I bring my harmonicas and do a little jammin. If you play you can get free beer. A great place to ride your bike too. Lots of bikers on the weekend.
  4. Camp Perry? Man I love Camp Perry. IIRC, they rent those "hutments" out to campers during the National Matches in late July-early August. How was Tombstone? Kind of "Hollywood"? Tombstone was really cool. All the buildings are original. They have actors that play all historical rolls. In fact, the town cops have to wear orange reflective vest. Other wise you wouldn't be able to tell them apart from the actors. They wear what any town marshal; sheriff would have worn back in the day. The Bird Cage Theater ran 24-7 for 11 years from the time it opened. It made $10 million in that time. It looked nothing like the movies portrayed it to be(some what small on the out side) As suspected of course. There are still wooden barrels of beer under the stage/storage area. The rooms where the hookers lived and ..........worked?, since it shut down, have the doors nailed shut and were left as is with only a peep-hole for viewing. Like they just walked away and left it. But it was really something just to imagine that Wyatt Earp & famous company was in that building, and most likely all the buildings I walked into. Boot hill, OK Coral, Allen St, all of it is as original as can be. Worth seeing if your in the area. Yes, there is some commercialization. That’s how the town survives. It's in the middle of no-where, and its major source of in-come is tourist. The siver mine has long shut down.
  5. Yobe,, are you calling me (Air Force) out to a shooting dual? I was in the Marines and the Army. Yes, it is scary watching Air Force people shoot at times.
  6. All pic's were from Tombstone, DM AFB, and Camp Perry ABOVE The pic with white huts behind the bike are WWII prisoner huts that held German & Italian prisonersat Camp Perry Ohio. They sell for a $1.00. Or so I'm told Then there's the Main Entrance (2 big stone light houses) in the back ground. It's the posts signature on every thing it advertises The other photos. Me and my crew had to go to Tucson AZ to use the range at Davis Mothan AFB. On our day off we went to Tombstone. All buildings are original
  7. Cleaning up the camera (digital) and forgot about some pic’s. Just thought I'd share.
  8. A diesel engine on the URAL. Possible? There's a few Gators at our base that are diesal. Maybe I should just drive a Gator to work. I would give it a try.
  9. Here's one for ya I came home one Saturday evening and found my shed open, and 2 empty gas cans laying in the yard. I was pi$$ed. I have a field right behind my property and noticed some bike tracks w/foot prints. I had a good idea who done it, those Buns-a-Sitches across the street. Young punks. But I couldn't prove it. They were always riding around the neighborhood on their motor-cross bikes all day and all night. They didn't work so my guess is they needed gas. It didn't take long to put 2 an 2 together. Sure as sh!t it was them. How do I know? What they didn't realize, and what I forgot, was the petrol they stole was not Gas but Kerosene. I realized this the next morning going to the town of Morenci MI (Sunday) when I seen them walking their bikes about a mile + outside of, and towards town, Lyons Oh. I knew the closer I got to them the more obvious the situation became. I kind of shocked them when I pulled along side them. "You boys alright?" "What do you think? They just stopped running" answering me in a smart-ass way. Hummmmmmmm? I thought. 2 bikes just stopped running. At the same time? "I don't know, but can I help" They tolled me they think there might be something wrong with the fuel system .........or what ever. "Maybe bad gas" I tolled them I would love to help them but "All I have is Kerosene" And drove away With a smile A perfect unintended plan Mac! This story reminds me of something that happened to a friend of mine some years ago. He lived not too far from a family of somewhat inbred, knuckle-dragging perpetual welfare types who had a couple of teenage three-time-looser-in training sons, which like the rest of the family were gainfully unemployed. My friend began noticing that about the same time the kids started driving, he began to loose gas from his vehicles. Eventually he hit upon a plan, involving: one five gallon gas can, five gallons of gas, and a pound or two of sugar. Said gas can was left outside of his garage one night... and sure enough, come the dawn it was gone. The family in question had several cars- rolling heaps, actually. My friend still gets a kick out of telling about how first one car and then the next mysteriously ceased running.... turns out the kids failed to put two and two together and when one car quit, they would syphon the gas out of it and pour it into the next. Sort of like ants carrying Diazanon granules back to their nest ! And sure as sh!t if your friend left out another 'Tainted' can of gas they would be stupid enough to come right back to get it. Serves them right. Gives me an idea.
  10. Venus and Mars are getting warmer to! I'm amazed at how sensative your temperature measuring devices (hands) are. Actally, the real answer is that the Sun is coming to the end of its life cycle and expanding like it should. Thats the only thing I can see that would explain warming on Earth, Venus and Mars at the same time. Stand by, its about to get real real warm around here for a short time then cold and dark forever. Good thing you got a Ural, it was built for a cold climate. minemapper Soooooo........if the sun is ending its life cycle. And it's going to make our planet (Earth) cold and dark forever, what difference does it make what Al Gore says/predicts? I mean about us causing global warming and all. Where did this info come from? Does Al’s scientist buddies know about this. Does Holly Wood know? Has Gore factored all this in his plan. So who's messing up the Earth? Man, the sun, Bush. What's/who's next to blame. Did Bush do something to the sun too. That bastard.

  12. ENOUGH already. I have a confession. Global warming is all my doing. Yes I did it all. Let me explain' I used to be in business with this swimming pool company. My partner left all the installation projects up to me. I had the fantastic idea to fill up the pools when we were done installing them. So I bought a 17' boat w/outboard motor and a used VW truck. Depending on the location, I would run back and forth to the nearest glassier. I would take the ice from the glassier and throw it in the pools. When it melted we had a filled pool. One day while drive back from Canada with a big chunk of glassier ice, I seen Al Gore . He was on the verge of passing me on the HWY when he slowed up enough along side of me. He put down the window on stretch-Limo and ask "Hey, is that a piece of glassier ice you got there?" I said " Yes, I found it on the beach in LA California". "Interesting" he replied. I planted the seed in his mind. Sorry world for the confusion. Hey, this makes as much sence as anything else you'd hear form the left

    Carburetors

What kind of carb's do I have? What ever came with a 2002/03 model. I really don't know. Guess I better find out Thanks for the advice guys. I will take all under consideration. Mac
  14. I should buy a mexican fag and fly it up-side down, or side ways. Maybe use it for a door mat (wipe your feet on) Being in Ohio, we get our far share of illegal during the summer and fall. But nothing that is "Riot Worthy" I figure when it gets that bad around here, America will be lad to waste. It will be like mexico. Then Canada will be next. And I'm sure they think "It'll never happen"
